Around Town, the State and our Nation!

The Foxborough RTC had a busy spring, between caucus, helping candidates with signatures and getting things rolling for our race to the White House, there has been no lull. I am happy to report that we have Republican Challengers on all fronts this year, and 2012 races are shaping up to beat the summer heat! On the Congressional front, we've got Sean Bielat, Elizabeth Childs and David Steinhoff all in a spirited Republican Primary for our 4th Congressional seat. State Senate Candidate Jeff Bailey out of Attleboro is running against Democratic incumbent James Timilty. Some say time enough for Timilty in that seat, he's got to find out what it is like to wake up early in the morning and work in the private sector for a while instead of the fat of Beacon Hill. And of course our favorite U.S. Senator Scott Brown is running vigorously against the liberal Harvard Professor Warren. Warren is a liberal hollywood fundraiser committed to destroying the middle class, contrary to her commercial sound bites. She supported the Obamacare mandate, which heaves a steep tax on the middle class families in our nation. Make no mistake, time for change is November. President Obama needs to go and nobody better to take him on than the presumptive Republican Nominee Gov. Mitt Romney. There has never been a more exciting or important time to be part of the Foxborough Republican Town Committee! Give us an email and get involved today! Because in order to make a change in November, we need you! Angela F. F. Davis

The Foxborough Republican Town Committee welcomed
U.S. Senator Scott Brown on Saturday November 19, 2011,
to the Lafayette House on Route 1 in Foxborough.

“We were so excited and honored for the Senator to be with us.” said Angela Forster Davis, Bristol/Norfolk Republican State Committeewoman and the Women for Brown Coalition Chair. “He has been working hard for the people of Massachusetts and is committed to bringing jobs to Massachusetts and a better economic climate, so his priorities are aligned with our kitchen table conversations. That was his focus tonite with us.”

Former gubernatorial candidate Charlie Baker introduced the Senator and spoke to the crowd as well. The crowd cheered as he was asked to step back in for another run for Governor in 2014

“Senator Brown introduced a new bill blocking insider trading while the elitist Washington D.C. insider opponent is taking Wall Street money this week to finance her campaign! You tell me who is more for the middle class!! This seat belongs to the people of Massachusetts, not the elitist Washington DC insiders that are out of touch with us and our lives. He knows we have his back for 2012

Welcome back, FRTC!

Dear Friends,

I hope you all enjoyed a healthy and rejuvenating summer! We have been busy all over the districts readying our grassroots movements to kick into gear for what is shaping up to be a spirited Presidential election year. As we move from the summer into fall, I hope to see as many of you as possible at our upcoming meetings. Some folks that cannot make the Foxborough RTC meetings show up to help in various ways, at the polls, sign-hold, make calls, and give what you can to the candidates. Your personal commitment and sacrifice to the party and the candidates is necessary and appreciated. I urge each of you to reflect on what you can give to the Foxborough Republican Town Committee, whether it is your time, talent, and monetary donation. Our group has had a strong voice helping to elect U.S. Senator Scott Brown and our State Representatives.

I know I don't have to tell you that our nation is in turbulent times. We must re-elect U.S. Senator Scott Brown and take the White House back. We can have an impact on the outcome if we all work together to strengthen our personal commitment to the cause. You see, the future of our nation does not rest solely on the shoulders of the candidates.

It is up to you and I to build on what we have achieved thus far.

I look forward to seeing you all at our meetings this Fall when we will sign our names to be on the ballot as a town committee and make a commitment together!

My very best to you,

Angela F. F. Davis
Foxborough RTC Chair
